AirPods 5 with Wireless Charging Case
New $149 · Added Oct 3, 2026
I've had every version of AirPods since they came out. The new ones feel slightly larger but still comfortable, have volume controls on the buds, and the noise canceling is even better. Awesome upgrade for the base model.
I've had every version of the AirPods since they were released. Disclaimer: I think they used my ears as the mold, because they fit perfectly and securely. I run and live in them (almost to a fault).
The new ones feel slightly larger but still comfortable in my ears. They don't fit great for everyone. They also have volume controls on the buds, and the noise canceling is even better. I've never been able to wear the AirPods Pro for more than an hour, no matter the tip style or size. So having the base model get volume control on the buds themselves and even better noise canceling is an awesome upgrade.
The sound is improved over the 4s too, and noise canceling seems to work even better. With iOS 27 they added more Adaptive sound options, so you can let even more sound in, or less, without going full noise canceling.
- Active Noise Cancellation, up to 1.5x more than AirPods 4 with ANC.
- Swipe the stem to change volume, like the Pro.
- Wireless charging case with a Find My speaker.
- Up to 5 hours of listening with ANC on.
Get the wireless charging case version ($149). The $129 one doesn't have the volume swipe.
